Portuguese company Balanças Marques is once again taking part in the world's largest weighing industry event, InterWEIGHING, which will be held in Shanghai, China, between 22 and 24 November.
Elected in 2023 as the best weighing company in the world in the sector's international awards, Balanças Marques couldn't fail to be present at the world's largest trade fair for weighing equipment and accessories for industry, a meeting point par excellence for manufacturers from all over the world. This has become a recurring event since Marques Electronic Technology (Ningbo) was created in 2015.
In addition to showcasing its star products at InterWEIGHING, which have been voted the best in the world several times in the Weighing Review Awards, namely the BM5 ARM commercial scale and the PCM M1500 truck scale, Balanças Marques will be promoting all its development work in weighing equipment for commerce and industry, range of displays, software, automation systems, load cells, among others.
Founded in 1967, Balanças Marques has over half a century's experience in manufacturing commercial and industrial weighing equipment. It is currently the main player in the Portuguese weighing market and the largest Portuguese manufacturer and exporter in the area.
With its headquarters in Braga and facilities also in Lisbon, Balanças Marques has companies in Spain, France, Brazil and China, and its exports account for around two thirds of the total value of Portuguese sales of weighing equipment to other countries. Of the global turnover recorded by the José Pimenta Marques Group company, more than 80 per cent relates to exports to more than 30 countries around the world.
