On may 24th, and on the motto “Flower Power”, Grupo José Pimenta Marques’ employees got together once more to celebrate the long-awaited Family’s Day, organized by the company.
On last May 24th, the 125 employees of Grupo José Pimenta Marques got together to celebrate another edition of Family’s Day, that this time took place at Quinta de Vilaça, near Braga.
This year, the team gathered on the motto “Flower Power” and, equipped with flowered scarves and sunglasses, it took part in the several team building activities prepared for the afternoon. Between clearly fun moments, the employees participated in traditional games and had the chance to cooperate and get to know some of the colleagues with whom they don’t work on a regular basis.
By night, and as tradition now demands, the employees’ relatives joined the party for a few more hours of sharing and, this year, also to help celebrating the recent nomination of Balanças Marques as the best weighing company in the world.
The event is a part of the company’s human resources’ policy and it aims to create team spirit among the employees and to appreciate their efforts and work with a few playful moments, entirely offered by the Group itself. Officially on the calendar since 2017, Family’s Day has its roots on the picnics the employees usually organized with the purpose of increasing the familiarity between themselves and their relatives.
