Balanças Marques was the only Portuguese company and one of the few European companies to participate in the world's largest weighing event, InterWeighing, which took place in Shanghai, China. The increasing brand awareness worldwide was evident in the huge increase in the number of visitors.
"On the first day we had a real crowd in our stand, as we had never registered, in this or any other fair," says Paulo Marques, CCO of Balanças Marques. "Just by the number of visitors, between new and "old" acquaintances, we can already say that our participation was a great success".
The ever-increasing brand awareness, the election as the world’s best company in the "Weighing Review Awards" and the recognition of product quality are some of the reasons for this success. As well as the assiduous presence of Balanças Marques in InterWeighing and a bigger and better located stand.
"We have received visitors from all over the world, many of whom have been repeating from previous editions, and the new ones were actually looking for us, which demonstrates that our brand is increasingly recognized worldwide", says Paulo Marques.
"In addition to the weighing solutions, there was a lot of curiosity around our load cells as well as the viewers, especially the BM500, which had a great novelty that attracted attention, the connection to several simultaneous platforms, both digital and analogue".
For Balanças Marques, "the presence at InterWeighing is a winning bet and is to keep in the next years", concludes Paulo Marques.
