BM5 XS scale and PCM M1500 weighbridge were elected the best in the categories of "Best Retail Scale" and "Best Truck Scale/Weighbridge", respectively, in the international awards "Weighing Review Awards". PCM M1500 won the award for the third consecutive year.
The company represented, once again, the best of what is made in Portugal in the weighing sector on the international awards "Weighing Review Awards 2016", organized by the website "International Weighing Review" and which results from the third edition were announced March 28th. Balanças Marques had two of its products chosen as the best in its categories: BM5 XS scale, in its first nomination, and PCM M1500 weighbridge, undisputed winner in all previous editions.
Francisco Marques, Balanças Marques CEO, reveals the pride by these distinctions. "It was with an immense satisfaction that we saw, one more time, being recognized the quality of our products. Without a doubt that the name and the good brand image of Balanças Marques, both in Portugal and abroad, are reinforced with these awards".
Francisco Marques emphasizes that "this distinctions bring as well more responsibility, since maintaining the accomplished level is important, increasing the exigency, both internal and external." Balanças Marques CEO considers that "the merit must be distributed by all employees as well as by all José Pimenta Marques Group companies and its employees, because without them all this wouldn’t be possible. The same way that it wouldn’t be possible without the contribution of all clients, partners, providers and friends".
Balanças Marques weighbridges are present in many countries, being one of the reasons for exports stand for more than 80% of the total turnover of the company. BM5 XS is a scale that was launched in 2015 and it is already a sales success in Portugal and Spain.
