Yes, 2021 has just arrived, but at Balanças Marques we’ve already decided which is going to be the word of our year. After focusing on the theme of “Sustainability” in 2020, we now want to draw attention to other theme that, one way or another, coined the last year and will certainly coin this one too: Health.
Let us welcome you into Balanças Marques’ “Health Year”!
Together with United Nations and other entities, we want to contribute to reach the “17 Goals to Transform our World”. And it was inspired by those goals, defined by UN, that we decided to dedicate 2021 to a “Good Health and Well-Being”.
Which means that, throughout the year, we’ll be (even) more focused in everything related to the theme. There are several measures we want to reinforce. There are several initiatives in our plans – not only to our employees. There is, above all, a will to bring the question to the centre of the debate.
Because Health is a “Matter with Weight”.
More than ever, everyone values Health. If there is something 2020 taught us was that is a matter with weight on our lives. And, in this context, Balanças Marques also wants to turn it into a priority on the social responsibility policy. We believe we can have a part of the fight for the third point on “Sustainable Development Goals” and help promoting “Good Health and Well-Being” inside our company and our community.
Because, as always, we want to support our Family, our Company, our Community.
At Balanças Marques, we’ve already developed several actions for Health. We offer multiple benefits that promote it among our employees. We support the Hospital of Braga. We are solidary to causes like Escola and Clínica da Maria. So, on this phase we’re going through, we want to reinforce our actions on this field and be even a greater supporter to the Health of our Family, our partners and the whole Community we are part of.
During 2021, stick by our side to find out what is yet to come, take part in our initiatives and, to sum up, walk with us on this way to the finish line of “Good Health and Well-Being” for all.
