We’re in 2020 (already?). New Years' Eve was a time to reflect and think about 2019, about the year that was reaching its end. And, in our case, what a great year it was!
As we already stated on our letter to Santa Claus, we’ve a lot to be thankful for. The last 12 months were filled with moments that will last on our memories and with moments that will always be on Balanças Marques’ History. Go through some of them with us:
The moment we were elected the best weighing company in the world
We were on May 2019. We arrived at Balanças Marques for what it seemed to be a typical Monday morning. But it wasn’t. Because on that day, we found out we had conquered the award we wanted so much – the “maximum” prize on Weighing Review Awards. It couldn’t have been better news to start a work week. A sensation of pride and doubled motivation invaded all the company and it lasts until today.
The moment(s) we were TV stars
This clearly was the year we were most at the spotlight. We made it to the news of several regional and national newspapers and magazines. We appeared on diverse television programs. All due to our products’ quality, our employees’ benefits policy and the awards we won along the year. So, we can’t help but feel a little vain with all the attention we got over the last few months.
The moment(s) we got the family together
Because we are Conversation, because we’re Fun, because we’re Family, the moments we spend together in proximity are always the best ones in the year. The Family Day, “Magusto”, Christmas Dinner and all other Balanças Marques’ events were the highlights of 2019. People became closer and created unforgettable memories. Could it be any better?
The moment we got the 8th place on the list of the 100 Best Companies to Work at in Portugal
When you work together as family, there is nothing you can’t achieve. And in 2019, besides other trophies that joined our shelves, Balanças Marques was able to reach the top 10 of the Best Companies to Work at in our home country. An achievment that comes to acknowledge our human resources policy and that makes us more than pleased. Afterall, not all of us can say we work at the best medium company and the second best on the industries sector, isn’t that right?
To celebrate all these moments that resulted on this big year, let’s make a toast (with Drappier, of course). A toast to the year that has now ended. A toast to 2020. A toast to you. A toast to all of us and to our whole family.
