At Balanças Marques, our mission is to add value to the weighing world. But this is only possible thanks to people. To the people who work with us and also to the people who are part of the community around us.
And, as a thank you, we, as a company, also contribute to them. Our social responsibility policy supports our community in different ways.

• We support the União de Freguesias Celeirós, Aveleda and Vimieiro.
Celeirós is the place that has welcomed us for some years now. This is where our headquarters and most of our facilities are located.
Therefore, whenever we can, we make our contribution to its administration.
In 2022, we were one of the sponsors of the return of the 25th of April race and, since 2017, our employees have been offering gifts or food to the most needy families at Christmas.
• We collaborate with the School Sports of Celeirós School.
At Balanças Marques, we believe in the value of Sports for the Personal Development of everyone, especially the youngest.
Therefore, we always collaborate closely with the Sports School of Celeirós School.
Every year we make our contribution and we are present at events dedicated to different modalities, such as cycling and roller-skating.
• We sponsore ABC of Braga.
The Académico Basket Clube (ABC) is part of the history of Braga, of the history of our home town.
Therefore, Balanças Marques became one of the sponsoring brands of this club, best known for its handball practice.
We are proud to be able to contribute to the functioning and success of ABC.
• We support the CDRC women's futsal team of Tebosa.
Many women are part of our history – even since our foundation.
As such, we had to support a women's team as well. In this case, the women's futsal team from the Clube Desportivo Recreativo Cultural de Tebosa, in Braga.
We are very happy to make our contribution to this sport and to this team that has already won the title in the Women's Futsal Division II and also the Women's National Futsal Cup.
