“Dear Santa,
Your day is just around the corner. And it means requests and gifts, dinner parties and a lot of food, as well as some extra kilos on the scale. But for us, at Balanças Marques, what weighs the most at this time of the year is the true Christmas’ spirit, all the sharing and gratitude.
So, today we’re not going to ask for anything in particular. We just want to share with you four of the things which make us feel especially grateful, on this 2019 Christmas:
Our family’s growth | It was with a sort of glow in our eyes that, throughout the year, we welcomed new members to Balanças Marques’ family. To the several departments in our company, we saw more employees coming. We now can count 125 people on our team. A team which has allowed us to complete the family picture with new solutions and products, such as our precision scales. And that’s why, this Christmas, nothing makes us more grateful than the family we’ve been building.
Our client’s trust | Throughout all these years, there’s something that never lacked in our company: our clients’ confidence in our work. Because, truth be said, we wouldn’t still be here otherwise. But to know so many companies keep investing on Balanças Marques and trusting our team’s power makes us extremely proud of the work we’ve been doing. We really appreciate the trust of those who choose our products.
The innovation and growth opportunities | During the year 2019, we had plenty of occasions to make our magic happen, to innovate, to grow. We put ourselves out there looking for new challenges, new clients and we’re able to win them over. Exactly like we hoped, each one took us further, technologically and geographically speaking. So, we just absolutely have to thank for this kind of opportunities, the kind we were always capable of creating along our way.
The publical recognition | 2019 was definitely the year when Balanças Marques received more recognition from the general public. We were elected the Best Weighing Company in the World. We made it to the eighth place on the list of the 100 Best Companies to Work at in Portugal. We won several other awards. And, because of that and because of all our work, we made it to the news on national tv and newspapers. A recognition that drives us to keep going and we thank for, with a warm heart, on this final stage of the year.
As you can see, Santa, we have a lot of reasons to feel grateful for – and here are just some of them. So, we can only say goodbye to you with a:
